Dympna Rynn's Obituary
Dympna Rynn, 88, of Pittsgrove Twp. passed away late Thursday evening November 10, 2016 in Inspira Medical Center, Elmer, after an extended illness.
Born in Monaghan, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (nee Clerkin) Duffy, and the wife of the late Patrick Rynn. Dympna came to the United States in 1955 from Ireland and settled in the North Jersey area. She had previously worked for the Pfizer Company in New York and also served as a crossing guard in her hometown in Dumont, NJ. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Anna Favorito and husband Anthony, Peggy White and husband Michael, Patricia Rynn, Patrick Rynn Jr., and Kevin Rynn; one sister, Carmel McMahon of England; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband Patrick, she was predeceased by many siblings. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday November 18, 2016 at 12:00p.m. from The Chapel at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. The interment will follow in the cemetery. Friends may express condolences on Thursday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00p.m. and also on Thursday evening from 6:00p.m. till 8:30 with a prayer service starting at 8:00p.m. at the Sray Webster Funeral Home, 62 Landis Ave., Bridgeton, NJ 08302. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Alzheimers Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Street, New York , NY 10001.
