I have already written in this guestbook. however, i feel i need to express more about this wonderful woman. She was such an important person in my life, and i wish, everyday, that i could have told her, just how special,kind,caring, and incredibly helpful, she was to me as a teen and young adult. TO HER FRIENDS AND FAMILY: my name is Stephanie Monticello,and my heart breaks for each and everyone of you! Though it has been a few weeks now, I am still very much aware of her missing on this earth. My husband Greg and I wish to express our sincere sympathies at the loss of Agnes. We went to Jr. High and High School with Agnes and remember her fondly. She received many honors at graduation and we knew that she would have a wonderful
successful career ahead of her. I often thought of her in recent years and hoped to see her at our class reunions. That never happened and I have not seen or spoken to her since our graduation. However, I recently saw her mother's obituary in the newspaper and although we could not attend her funeral, I saved the information hoping to track Agnes down. My intentions were to do so this summer. I am angry at myself because I did not follow though and it is now too late. The Agnes I remember was kind and softspoken and very intelligent. She also had a great sense of humor. She was one that people listened to when she spoke. I am sure that she had a very successful career. I have know Agnes for over 25 years. She is the godmother of my oldest daughter, Samiel who is 16 years old. I have beautiful pictures of my friend Agnes standing up with me at Samiel's christening. More importantly, I have lovely memories of our families getting together and her mother and mine talking about the many functions they both held in their respective AME churches. Agnes and I laughed when Samiel was an infant and Agnes and I were sitting around the pool in direct sunlight. If Mrs Durham had not whispered in Agnes' ear to get "the baby out of the hot sun!!!" , Samiel may not have been here today. Here..Agnes and I with our doctorates failed to notice that infants don't sweat.
Just before Agnes sudden death, she curiously sent me a written invitation for what she referenced, "the last" pool party. In over 25 years, I never recalled her sending me a written invitation, a simple call was the typical way of letting family and friends know to "come on down and to pick up a couple bags of ice close by". I will hold on to this note forever since she also said, family tend to only gather at "funerals". From my mother, brother Rodney, Samira and your goddaughter, Samiel, we all love you and will keep you near in our hearts. There is no one like you.

I would like to express my sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Dr. Agnes Durham. I spoke with Dr. Durham many times on the phone and had the pleasure of meeting her once. Dr. Durham was always available to help people in Marlboro and the surrounding communities via her practice as a psychologist. She certainly earned the respect of her peers. May she rest in peace, and may all whom she left behind be sustained with warm, vibrant memories of her presence in your lives. Agnes and I were in the same graduating class at Bridgeton High School. She sat behind me in homeroom all four years. I had many talks with her throughout our high school years. She was always kind and insightful not to mention, one of the most intelligent people I've ever known, and I was not surprised with her chosen profession. Dear Bruce,Sally, Brook, Beth and Families. SHOCKED snd really upset.
I was a client for ten years! @Wrote" Jewel" and dedicated it to her! I know you all! My Heart felt sympathy with love! Can I do anything to help in any way? This truly is a deep loss for humanity for Dr. Durham guided me through some of my toughest times. She was dedicated and always available. I moved out of county five years ago
and had to move on with my life. Dr.Durham helped me achieve fundemental progress which will affect me for my lifetime. I'm so sorry that I did not get back to her when her mom passed away. I do know that each and everyone of you where so special to her. You meant so much to her within your different relationships! No mater what I know she loved and appreciated all of you as you filled her life! God Bless you all and may you find peace somehow

I was very shocked this morning when i read the newspaper this morning. Dr Durham, was my 'doctor'from 1988 steady until 1993, and a few visits in 1996-1999.
she had been such a great influence,and help to me and that has carried me into my adult life. i often wanted to thank her over the years,and let her know just what an impact she had made. all i can do is believe, that now, she does know it,and i hope her family will now as well. this, is a very sad day, and i will miss her, very much.
