Doris Bard Carney's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we notify of the passing of Doris Bard Carney on June 28, 2024 at the age 89. She was the Matriarch of five generations of family. She loved her large and extended family, commenting in her last days that she felt sorry for people that did not have a family like hers.
Doris is survived by ten children, four stepchildren, 100 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. 58 step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, step great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Doris is predeceased by two children, four stepchildren, five grandchildren and one great grandchild, one step great great grandchild, her parents, four sisters and four brothers.
Doris graduated from LPN school in 1975. She worked at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland after she graduated and until she relocated to California where she worked as an LVN through most of 2015.
Doris will be remembered for her feistiness, stubbornness, strength and caring attitude.
Doris will forever be loved and missed by her family and friends.
