We knew Dee for only a short time through the CHFC Phoenix 94 Team-but she quickly became one of the family. Our hearts break for Brandon and his family. Dee & I have been friends for so long, that I don't have a memory when she wasn't in my life. We had been seperated by distance and there were times when we lost touch, but then we would reconnect and it was like there was no time or distance between us.
She was the truest of friends. I'll never

My favorite memory of Dee and DJ was about a year ago when DJ was dropping Shidner off at Darla's and he said he couldn't stay because he had to hurry home to help Dee finish frosting her hair. : That was just one example of the true love they shared with each other. She really loved DJ and her kids and she felt lucky to live the life she had.
Just 2 weeks ago we went to see a Bee Gee's tribute band at the Landis Theater. We were dancing in the aisle and sneaking beers from the bar to our seats. That was a REALLY fun night full of tons of laughs.
I will never forget Dee and her swing dancing. It was so fun when Dee would look over, grab my hand and just start twisting and spinning me all over the dance floor. Many times we almost knocked someone or something over, but that just made it all the more fun.
I will miss your warm eyes, soft voice and smiling face.
I know you are watching over your family and friends from up in Heaven.
