Dominick J. Staffieri Jr.'s Obituary
Dominick Joseph Staffieri Jr., 73, of Upper Deerfield Township, passed away at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia on Saturday, December 15, 2018. The husband of June Staffieri (nee Hoffman), he was born in Bridgeton and was the son of the late Dominick Staffieri and Frances Staffieri (nee Ellsworth).
Dominick was a member of the Rosenhayn United Methodist Church where he formerly served as a trustee and usher. He was very proud of his service in the U.S. Army from 1965 – 1968. He was self- employed in the construction business when he retired in 2010.
He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and especially enjoyed supporting his grandsons in their sporting events. He was also a fan of Nascar racing.
Dominick is survived by two children, Kimberly Porch (Dean) of Alloway and Michael Staffieri (Stephanie Cowperthwait) of Upper Deerfield, grandsons, Devin Porch, Braden Staffieri and Mason Staffieri. He is also survived by many special cousins, including Joseph Falzone, Jr. who was like a brother to him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Rosenhayn United Methodist Church, 587 Morton Avenue, Rosenhayn, NJ at 10:30 A.M. Pastor Michael Denelsbeck will officiate. The interment of the cremated remains will follow the service at the Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery on Trench Road, Bridgeton, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested in Dominick’s memory to the Rosenhayn United Methodist Church, 587 Morton Ave., Rosenhayn, NJ 08352.
