Dennis Faichney's Obituary
Dennis Faichney Sr., aged 60 years, passed away with his family by his side at home on Monday December 9, 2013.
Born in Gouldtown, he was the son of the late Elsworth and Aggie (nee Hadley) Harris, and the husband of Maria (nee Powell) Faichney. Mr. Faichney had been an area resident all of his life. He and his family were long time faithful members of St. Johns Pentecostal Church in Cedarville where he served as Chairman of the Deacon Board. He was currently employed with WalMart of Vineland, and had previously worked for Silverton Yacht where he retired after several years of employment. He had also worked for the former Bridgeton Dye and Finishing Co.
Mr. Faichney enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family.
Dennis is survived besides his wife Maria, his two sons, Dennis Faichney Jr. and Dean Faichney; his brothers and sisters, Nelson Hadley, Flora Mae Faichney, Jeffrey Harris, Elross Harris, Glory Hickman, Katherine Dennis, Rita Stephens, Eleanor Harris, and Orra Mae Hickman; his two aunts, Janie Price and Daisy Neil; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and various relatives and friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son David Faichney in 2006. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Monday December 16, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the Glory Tabernacle Church 1018 Buckshutem Road, Bridgeton. The interment will be in Fordville Memorial Park, Fairfield Twp. Friends may call on Monday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the church prior to the services.
