Our thoughts and prayers extend to all of you who are faced with the displeasure of losing a loved one to what the bible describes our worst enemy called Death, in these critical situations it's normal to feel helpless not knowing where to turn. However, our heavenly creator has assured us in HEB: 6/11 that it is impossible for him to ever forget us, and a promise that all of those that are worthy will soon have the privilege of living again on a paradise earth. according to PSALMS:37/29. Meanwhile we can give our thanks to the funeral directors: for their perfectional assistance and their heartfelt concern toward the unfortunate friends and families. THANKS!
I’m not quite sure how to start this but I’ll start by saying thank you to everyone for showing up for our family today and these past few weeks. For those of you who don’t know me my name is Annmarie and I am Dave’s daughter in law. I just want to share a few memories of my father in law that mean a lot to me. First off Dave.. thank you for welcoming me into your family 13 years ago, I knew I was your favorite daughter in law when I would bait your stands every Sunday so you didn’t have to or how I could throw jokes right back at you without thinking twice. I’m gonna miss your dinner visits. We could always tell you were at the door just by the knock.. but you were always there and sunny always greeted you with a hug around the neck yelling “poppop!!!” without a doubt you showed up for your family and friends any day any time any where without hesitation. You also always knew the gossip, if I ever needed to know something about someone, you were the first person I’d ask, and if you know Dave 9 times out of 10 he would know. Ill miss you always cheating when we played blitz, and ill never forget that one time I actually beat you on thanksgiving. Ill miss the quiet early mornings we had watching the news when I couldn’t sleep when I lost my mom, I’ll miss you telling me which relative of mine you stopped to talk to that day, I’ll miss you coming over Saturday mornings to go to the dump after your breakfast dates with your brothers and sister. ill miss watching Sunny’s face light up when she heard your truck back into the drive way. I’ll miss watching you teach Sunny about the garden and taking her for her favorite rides on the side by side. I’ll miss when you kept blaming the sight on that damn gun for how many times you missed that groundhog in the back yard. But most of all I’ll miss how much you loved Sunny. I know She will miss you and your lunch dates as she looked forward to eating all of your sandwiches and chippies. We will miss your unwavering support, advice, and love Dave. I am and will always be proud to say that you are my father in law. I’m going to end this with some thing that I feel needs to said— love on your people, take the picture, say I love you. And We will see you again one day♥️
