David Hitchner, II's Obituary
David Francis Hitchner II, 58, of Fairmont passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020, at his home. David was born in Bridgeton, NJ on October 10, 1961, a son of the late David Francis Hitchner Sr. and Beatrice Marshall Hitchner.
David is survived by his children, Amy Hitchner-Allison (Derek) of Gulf Shores, AL, Amanda Stiles (James) of Wadestown, David Hitchner III (Jennifer) of Fairmont, Daniel Hitchner of Fairmont, and Emmitt Hitchner (Hope) of Fairmont; grandchildren, Aiden and Kameron; brother, Danny Marshall of Florida; sister, Beatrice Norma Martorana (James) of Bridgeton, NJ; nephews, John, Brian, and James; and his dog, Purdy.
David was a proud U.S. Army veteran and enjoyed playing the guitar and bass, assembling model sets, crafts, cooking and especially taking his children fishing and hunting as they were growing up. He dearly loved his grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV, with local services under the direction of Sray-Webster Funeral Home, 62 Landis Ave, Bridgeton, NJ. A viewing will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 1PM-2PM, with services at 2PM. Burial to follow at Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Hopewell township.
