Daniel C. Carter's Obituary
Daniel C. Carter, aged 69 years of Pine Hill, NJ passed away on Thursday morning under Vitas Hospice Care in JFK Hospital in Stratford.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Daniel Joseph and Dorothy (nee Straub) Carter. Dan had been a resident of the Pine Hill area for the past 15 years and had previously lived in Vineland and Millville. He was formerly employed until his retirement with Lockheed Martin in Cherry Hill where he worked for several years as a Computer Programmer. Dan loved watching automobile racing, especially Formula One Cars, and enjoyed photography. He was a man who was very content with, and found pleasure with the simplest things in life. He is survived by his son, Daniel D. Carter of Hopewell Twp.; his sister, Faith Weatherby of Virginia; and a brother, John T. Carter of Missouri; his former wife, Valerie Ridgway Carter, and his closest friends: Donna Roccia, Jeff Margolis, and Willie and Carmen Rivera. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Sunday evening October 9, 2016 at 7:00p.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 prior to the service. Cremation and inurnment will be in Camden County Crematory, Waterford Twp.
