Chester L. Cuff Sr.'s Obituary
Chester L. Cuff Sr. 84, of Millville died suddenly Sunday evening September 21, 2008 in South Jersey Regional Medical Center, Vineland. Although he had been in failing health for some time his death was unexpected.
Born in Penns Neck, Salem County he was the son of the late Nathaniel and Mary nee Pierce Cuff and the husband of the late Eleanor M. nee Johnson Cuff. Mr. Cuff was a truck driver for many years with the Commercial Fuel Company in Millville until their closing and then he worked for Coraluzzo Trucking Company in Vineland, until his health started to fail him. In his younger years he loved riding motorcycles and was a member of the Fairton Smokers Motorcycle Club. He also enjoyed camping and was a member of the Coachman Caravan Club, Contented Travelers Chapter 15. He was a devout farmer and enjoyed growing vegetables in his garden. He and his wife were former members of the First Wesleyan Church of Bridgeton and also the Bridgeton First Church of the Nazarene. He also was a member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Indian Tribe of Bridgeton. He enjoyed Bible study with family and friends and will be sadly missed by all. He is survived by his son Chester L. Cuff Jr. and his daughter in law Barbara of Millville, two brothers Nate Cuff of Durand, Oklahoma, and Morris Cuff , four sisters Glendora Pierce of Cohansey, Hester Ridgway of Fairfield Twp., Emma Seeney and Alta Worley, both of Dover, Delaware, four sister in laws Esther Nyberg, Catherine Coombs, Olive Edminster, and Marguerite Johnson, and one brother in law Ted Edminster. He was predeceased besides his parents and wife by his brother Linwood Cuff, and two sisters Serena Carter, and Lucy Pierce
