Charlette Armstrong's Obituary
Charlette Armstrong, 64, of Newport, NJ passed away early Tuesday morning at Genesis Center in Millville battling liver disease. Born September 22, 1959 in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Darla Mae (Reynolds) Abrams and the wife of Edward Armstrong.
Charlette grew up in the Norma area and was a long time member of St. Michaels RC Church in Cedarville. She was also a member of the Laurel Lake Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing and camping with her family and having bonfires where she loved cooking hot dogs. She was a big sports fan, especially football, and enjoyed watching regardless of which team was playing. She also loved going on cruises with her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, and devoted grandmother.
Surviving her are her four children; Charlette Armstrong, Bernadette Gomez-Mares and (Leo), Jeanette Pierce and (Herbert III) and Edward Armstrong III, her sisters, Debbie Baker (Abrams) and (Dave) and Sandra Vincent and (Edward), a sister in law Helen Abrams, seven grandchildren, Chelsea Baez and George, Aryanna Gomez-Mares, Herbert Pierce IV, Lea Gomez-Mares, Mateo Gomez-Mares, Alexa Gomez-Mares, and Wyatt Pierce, her great grandson Easton Baez, and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday January 12, 2024 at 11:00 am in Sacred Heart Cemetery 741 East Walnut Road, Vineland. At the family request, asking everyone attending the graveside to please wear green.
