Chuck enjoyed all sports. One of his favorite past times as a child and as an adult was Indian arrowhead hunting. His father took him rabbit hunting as a child then taught him how to deer hunt which turned out to be an enjoyable sport for him. Chuck traveled all over the United States deer hunting and one trip with friends bear hunting and he came back with a trophy bear. He played high school baseball as well as basketball. He was a graduate of Glassboro State College. His working career consisted of working with Prudential Insurance Co. for 25 years as well as the Cumberland County Office on Aging as a social worker until his retirement . Chuck spent countless hours working on his family farm in Lower Alloway Creek, NJ where he raised his family.
Chuck was a born again Christian and led many to salvation through Jesus Christ. He went on countless misssions trip to Jamaica with George Bowman and Niles Bailey along with others to give the gospel message of Jesus. Our only hope for eternal life with Jesus forevermore is found in Jesus Christ alone not in our works. As a patient in the hospital his witness was strong stating his faith and trust in God. He knew he was in God’s hands and rested in that. He knew he would be in heaven his eternal home with His Lord and Savior forever.
The family suggests contributions in his memory be given to Jamaica Missions Project
