Charles D. Ridgeway's Obituary
Charles D. Ridgeway, aged 64 years of Fairfield Twp., passed away suddenly and unexpected at his residence on Wednesday October 19, 2016.
Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of the late William H. and Pauline (nee Sanderlin) Ridgeway. He had been an area resident all of his life.
Charles, or “Butch" as he was known, was formerly employed with Squid Mac Ice House in Bridgeton and also had previously worked for Lickanchucks Salvage. He enjoyed working around his yard and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Eleanor Ridgeway-Peterson, and Mary Becky Peterson, two sisters: Bernetta Pierce, and Buelah Mae “Bonnie” Ridgeway, and his one brother, Wilson Durham. He was predeceased besides his parents, by many brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Friday October 28, 2016 at 12:00p.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. A viewing will be held from 11:00a.m. till 12:00p.m. prior to the services. The interment will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Hopewell Twp.
