Charles Erianne Jr.'s Obituary
Charles Erianne Jr. of Rosenhayn, passed away early Saturday morning August 6, 2022 in Cooper University Medical Center, Camden, with his family by his side. Although he was in declining health, his death was unexpected. He was 83 years old.
Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of the late Charles Sr. and Marie Maltese Erianne. He had been an area resident all of his life.
Charlie had worked for many years with the City of Bridgeton Public Works Dept. retiring in 1990 as a Senior Pumping Station Operator. He also served for many years with the Bridgeton Fire Dept. where he worked up the ranks serving as an Assistant Chief and Chief. He loved the fire department and served holding a strong work ethic. In 1956, Charlie enlisted in the Marine Corp., serving proudly with an Honorable discharge in 1962.
He loved hunting and shooting sports and was a member of the Quinton Sportsmans Club and the NRA. He was also a long time member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2127 Bridgeton. When he was younger, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was looking forward to attending his Bridgeton High School Class Reunion this Saturday. He loved life and he loved his family.
Surviving him are his children; Andrea Hannold and her husband John of Rosenhayn, Charles S. Erianne of Bridgeton, Robert J. Erianne and his wife Amy of Rosenhayn, five grandchildren, Kayla Marie Erianne, Ashley Lauren Erianne, Robert Anthony Erianne, Cody Charles McMahan, Paige Nichole McMahan, and his two great grandchildren, Journey and Kash. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Andrew Erianne.
Family and friends may call on Saturday August 13, 2022 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the funeral home. Private services for family only will be held at 1:00pm. The interment will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donation in memory be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Philadelphia Office, 2002 Sproul Road Suite102 Broomall, PA 19008; Designated towards Grapes and Grain Fund Raiser.
