Catherine Holman's Obituary
Catherine "Kit Kat" Holman peacefully passed away Wednesday morning, August 3, 2022, in Vineland, NJ. Catherine was born to Betty Luster Holman and Amos Holman on September 28, 1945, in Bridgeton, NJ.
She attended the public school system in Cumberland County and graduated from Bridgeton High School. She was baptized in 1994 at the Temple of God Body of Christ, In Vineland, NJ. Catherine worked 30 years in the manufacturing industry with Owens Illinois and Durand glass. Aunt Cathy was the baby girl in the family, but only in age; she worked hard and cared for her beloved parents as their sole provider. Later in life, she cared for her grandmother, Beatrice “Nanna” Luster, the Matriarch of the Luster family.
She leaves to cherish in her memory: a brother Pastor Arnold Austin Luster Sr. and his wife Clara Mae Luster and sister Amelia Rumph, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Betty Luster Holman and Amos Holman, grandmother (Beatrice Luster), and sister (Betty Jane Peirce).
The family of Catherine Holman wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all for your support and kind gestures.
Due to the rise in Covid Cases in the area, the family is holding a walk thru only viewing Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Sray Webster Funeral Home, 62 Landis Avenue, Bridgeton, New Jersey, from 9 am -11 am. Masks are required regardless of vaccination status. Interment will take place privately at the family’s convenience.
