Carolyn A. Dean's Obituary
Carolyn A. Dean, 67 of Millville, passed away on Saturday evening March 24, 2012 in Cooper University Medical Center, Camden, where she had been a patient for almost two months.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. Sr. and Della nee Anderson Cooper, and the wife of the late Billy "Tex" Dean. She had been an area resident for all of her life. Carolyn had worked previously until her health started to fail her as a nursing assistant in the former Bridgeton Nursing Center, now South Jersey Extended Care. Her hobbies included playing Bingo, shopping and dancing, but she especially enjoyed and loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Surviving her are her sisters Dorothea Hall, Marilyn Goodwin, Elizabeth Wilmore, Dolphine Johnson, and Janet Peterson, all of Bridgeton, Andrus Greenlee of Vineland, Linda Barksdale of Penns Grove, Denise Stiles of Quinton, Eugenia Garlic of Salem, her brothers Albert Cooper Sr. of Mullica Hill, Arnold Milton of Willow Grove, PA, Robert Blake of Florida, Anthony Foster and Scott Cooper both of Delaware, and several nieces, nephews, and various relatives. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two children Milton Johnson, and Karen Johnson, two sisters, Charlotte Williams, Maxine Crawford, four brothers Charles H. Cooper Jr., Douglas Blake, Donald Blake, and Theodore "Teddy" Blake.
