Carol Bondi's Obituary
Carol Bondi, 73, of Hopewell Twp. passed away early Tuesday morning January 22, 2019 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. Born in Bridgeton, November 27, 1945, she was the daughter of Carmella “Millie” (nee Blandino) Mossbrooks and the late Alfred Mossbrooks Sr., and the wife of Jack Bondi Sr..
Carol and Jack were long time area residents. They relocated in 1981 to Syracuse, NY where they resided until 2001 before returning to Millville. Most recently she and her husband were residents of Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Twp.. Carol and Jack would have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary this coming February.
Carol was known to be set in her ways and you knew where you stood with her. She enjoyed going out to dinner with Jack because she absolutely hated cooking. She worshipped and saw no wrong in her son Jack Jr., and she also had two special nephews, Max and Phillip Mossbrooks, whom she adored. She loved the Phillies, especially the early Darren Daulton and Tug McGraw years. She was a member of the Parish of the Holy Cross Immaculate Conception Church and she loved listening to the oldies and fifties music. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother.
Besides her husband Jack, she is survived by her mother Carmella “Millie” Mossbrooks of Millville, her son, Dr. Jack Bondi Jr. of Voorhees, her brothers: Alfred “Moe” Mossbrooks and his wife Jill of Hopewell Twp., Robert “Bobby” Mossbrooks and wife Eileen of Millville, her loving granddaughters: Katelyn Bondi , Lauren Bondi, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday January 25, 2019 at 11:00a.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. The interment will be in Overlook Cemetery, Bridgeton. Friends may call on Friday morning from 10:00a.m. till 11:00a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
