She further served with various community organizations including the Quinton Fire Company Auxiliary, Salem Rotary, and with Ranch Hope.
Brenda was active in her faith community spending the later years as a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Salem, but for many years as a proud member of the church her family founded, Berry's Chapel (Haven United Methodist Church, Quinton).

Hudson and his family; daughter Andree Koehler and her husband Glade, and grandson Khalil Robinson, brothers Arbor, Carl, and Eric Berry and their families, and a host of family and friends.
