Bosey Kent's Obituary
Bosey Kent 89, of Vineland, passed away Saturday evening in Bishop McCarthy Residence, Vineland, where he was a resident.
Born in Newington, Georgia, he was the son of the late Bubba and Pearl nee Sheppard Kent, and the husband of the late Justine Kent. Mr. Kent was an associate pastor, and long time member of the F.B.H. Holiness Church of Vineland. He had previously lived in both Cedarville and Bridgeton, prior to moving to Vineland. Bosey was employed years ago with the former Hunt's and P.J. Ritter Companys, and was lastly employed prior to his retirement with Clement Pappas Co. in Seabrook. Bosey enjoyed working, especially in his garden, and working for others, always lending a helping hand to all. He is survived by his children, Clifford Kent, Jessie Kent and his wife Phyllis, Jessie May Clemmons and her husband Murray, all of Daytona, Florida, MacArthur Kent and his wife Barbara of Egg Harbor, Dennis Kent and his wife Betty, Mattie Colvin and her husband John, all of Vineland, Pearl Wiley and her husband Mark of Fairton, and Frances Ellis of Bridgeton., one sister Susie Robinson of Bridgeton, one brother Walter Kent of Wilmington, Delaware, 29 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by a daughter Ann Kent, and son Samuel Kent, brothers Jessie Kent, Don Kent, and JC Kent his sisters, Meater Gadson, Alphonsie McCrae, and Helen Haynes, a granddaughter Patricia Ellis, and grandson Wayne Collins.
