Beverly Diane Smith Banfield's Obituary
Beverly Diane Smith Banfield, aged 68 years of Millville, passed away on Friday afternoon March 31, 2017 in Fairton under hospice care at the home of her daughter and surrounded by her family. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Joe Cephus and Donavie Beatrice (nee Wilson) Smith; and she was the wife of Robert Banfield.
Diane was formerly employed in Housekeeping with Inspira Medical Center until her retirement due to her health. She loved doing crossword puzzles and enjoyed reading, especially her Bible. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Surviving Beverly is her husband Robert Banfield, her children: Bonnie Barker and her husband Michael of Fairton, Michelle Debellis and husband Gregory of Millville, a sister, Joyce McDowell of Millville, grandchildren: Steven Schavelin, Gary Jr., Anthony, and Adam Ridgway, Dylan Miller, Destiny and Lily Barker, and Ally Sullivan, and three great grandchildren: Addison Schavelin, and Liam and Hannah Ridgway. She was predeceased besides her parents by two sons: Donnie J. Dagostino, and Philip Dagostino, three brothers: Joseph, Charles, and Kenneth Smith, and twin sisters: Fay and Kay Smith. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday April 7, 2017 at 3:00p.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. The interment will be in Centerton Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, Upper Pittsgrove Twp. A viewing will be held from 2:00 – 3:00p.m. prior to the services.
