Betty Jane Pierce's Obituary
Betty Jane Pierce, aged 70 years of Millville, passed away Tuesday evening April 28, 2015, in Cumberland Manor surrounded by her loving family after an extended illness.
Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Pauline (nee Luster) Holman and the wife of William Pierce. She had been an area resident all of her life.
Betty was a Hairstylist and had previously worked for JV’s Beauty Shop and Juanita’s Coiffure in Bridgeton for many years. She was a member of the Temple of Yahweh Church in Vineland where she enjoyed attending and singing during services. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting for her family and friends.
Surviving her besides her husband William is her daughter, Andrea Holman of Bridgeton; one brother, Arnold Luster Sr. of Vineland; sisters, Amelia Rumph of Rocky Mount , NC, and Catherine Holman of Vineland; her three grandchildren, Rhonda Bracy of Millville, Tamika Bracy of Vineland, and Khawana Solomon of Millville; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Monday evening May 4, 2015 at 7:00p.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00p.m. prior to the services. Cremation and inurnment will take place in the Camden County Crematory, Waterford Twp.
