Barbara A. Gates' Obituary
BARBARA A. GATES, after a long courageous battle with breast cancer Barbara Ann Patitucci Gates passed peacefully at her home Thursday morning surrounded by her family. Barbara was born in Bridgeton to Dorothy I. Hackney Patitucci and the late James J. Patitucci. She resided in Cedarville with her husband of 40 years, Harry R. Gates.
Barbara was employed by Sheppard Farms for the past several years. Previous employers consist of Cumberland County Court House, Consalo Farms, A.J. Petrunis and Nardelli Bros.
She enjoyed working on the reunion committee of Bridgeton High School class of 69' where she and her husband were class sweethearts. One of her greatest pleasures was spending time with her family especially her husband, children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband Harry R. Gates, sons, Harry R. Gates, Jr. and Sharon D'Agostino Gates, grandsons Gavin, Adam and Brody Gates, Robert J. Gates and Jess Venello, granddaughter Gia Gates, Mother Dorothy I. Patitucci, mother in law Ethel Gates, siblings, John Patitucci Cheri, Irene Horseman Alan, Janice Hoffman Bob, Cindy Perella Joe and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father in law Robert Gates.
