Arlin Gilmore's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our friend Arlin Gilmore, who departed peacefully in the early morning hours of October 5, 2023. She was a long time resident of Franklin Township, and was predeceased by her devoted husband, Richard Hawthorn Gilmore, her sister Stephanie Faukner, brother Lyle Whitfield Sullivan and her parents.
Arlin worked locally for various business's in the accounting department and held the position of President of her husband's company. Originally from Wales, U.K. , Arlin was truly a free spirit and lived a full life. She was a world traveler visiting over fifty countries and some multiple times during her lifetime. She loved nothing more than to travel to far away and exotic places, eager to explore new lands, meet new people and make friends with all she met along the way.
As a nature conservationist, she loved the outdoors and took great pride in respecting the natural world. She was an avid bird watcher, feeding flocks of birds that would perch at her feeders, and was a compassionate caregiver to animals. She enjoyed caring for her impeccably manicured yard, her home and tending to her flower gardens.
Arlin was kind, true to heart and witty beyond measure. She was passionate with everything she did in life, and will be remembered for her generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. Arlin was a true friend to all who had the pleasure of meeting her.
Arlin requested private cremation services, and wished everyone to remember her as they knew her in life. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Cumberland County SPCA 1244 North Delsea Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360
