Antoinette Toni Litzinger's Obituary
Antoinette Litzinger, or as she was affectionally known as Toni, 84, of Bridgeton, passed away on January 3, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Toni was born on September 8, 1938, to Anthony and Verna May in Uniontown, PA. She graduated from North Union Twp. High School in 1956. After graduation, she moved to Bridgeton and worked for Owens-Illinois for 10 years. It was there she met the love of her life and soul mate, David Litzinger.
Toni and Dave were married on August 14, 1961. They resided on East Avenue in Bridgeton for 39 happy years, where they raised three daughters and enjoyed their five amazing grandchildren. They then moved to their current residence in Fairfield Twp., where Toni loved spending time with her family and spoiling her beloved grandchildren who were always a tremendous source of happiness for her. She loved gardening and took joy and pride in maintaining her home. She enjoyed her favorite holidays with family on Halloween and her homemade eggnog on Christmas Eve.
Toni is survived by her husband of 61 years, David Litzinger, daughters; Jackie Litzinger and her husband, David Wilson, Stacy Tyler-Gould and her husband Brian Gould, and Janet Jones, grandchildren; Christopher Howard and his wife Reina, Frank Tyler, Bryan Gould, Maris Jones, Dylan Jones, David Wilson, and Jon Wilson, two sisters; Juanita Bertucci and Diane Baldish, and close family friend Richard Rose who was like a son to her; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Toni was predeceased by her sisters; Verna Rabbai and Lucille Conn.
She will be truly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
A viewing will be held in her honor on January 12, 2023, beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Sray Webster Funeral Home, 62 Landis Avenue, Bridgeton, N.J., with a short service to follow at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in her memory be made to Tails Up Paws Down Rescue. (www.tailsuppawsdownrescue.org) This organization connected her with her beloved dog, Louie.
