Anna Mae “Yellow Ray of Sunshine” Wright born to the late Lewis Piece Sr. and Arabella Pierce on February 1, 1935 in Hopewell Township, NJ. Surrounded by family at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, NJ, she answered the call and has been reunited with her Lord and Savior on April 21, 2023.

Anna attended Cumberland County College and studied Early Childhood Education. She was passionate about her 29 year career as an Instructional Aide at Fairfield Township in the Early Childhood Education Program.
She gave her heart to the Lord and served Him from a tender age. She loved being a Missionary and participating in the Croquette Ministry at her church, Trinty AME of Gouldtown.
In 1989, she married Warren F. Wright Sr. The union lasted until the passing of her beloved, 17 years later.
Anna loved to be amongst young people. Her philosophy was: “if you keep with the youth, you stay youthful.” She had lots of creative talents from being an artist, to crocheting and even molding clay.
