Anna D. Cuff's Obituary
Anna D. Cuff 92, of Stow Creek Twp., passed away Sunday morning August 16, 2009 at home with her family by her side. She had been in failing health for ten years but has been under hospice care for the last year and a half.
Born in Dover, Delaware, she was the daughter of the late Minous and Eliza E. Durham, and the wife of the late Howard C. Cuff Sr. who passed away in 1987. She grew up in the Dover area and has been an area resident for over 60 years. Anna was a homemaker, and she loved to cook and entertain for her family and friends. She loved entertaining company, and was always glad to have visits with friends, whether it was stopping by the house or during family picnics. Most of all she cherished her five grandchildren, and enjoyed every minute spent with each of them. Surviving her to cherish her memory is her son and daughter in law whom she lived with for the past 10 years, Howard C."Tinker" Cuff and his wife Diane, one sister Elmira Hughes of Millville, her five grandchildren Hilary Jane Martin, Matthew Burton Cuff, Chelsea Ann Cuff, James David Cuff, and Toby Howard Cuff, and several other relatives, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by six brothers Harry, Raymond, Carlton, Minous Jr., William and Norman Durham, and two sisters Beatrice Mosley and Mary Pritchett, and her step daughter Arlene Clark.
