Angelica Lima's Obituary
Angelica (Lysk) Lima, 71, of Deerfield Township, passed unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, NJ, following a period of declining health.
Born on July 24, 1954, in Bridgeton, NJ, Angelica was the daughter of the late Lydia (Zibulski) and John Lysk. She remained a lifelong resident of the greater South Jersey area.
Angelica dedicated many years of service to Bally’s Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City, where she worked in the accounting department before her retirement. Beyond her career, she found great joy and pride in caring for her yard and garden, delighting in feeding the birds and in the careful, patient work of planting and nurturing flowers. She also had a love for baking and cooking and cherished staying connected with family and friends, maintaining close relationships through phone calls and online correspondence.
Angelica is lovingly remembered by her brother and sister-in-law, John and Melissa Lysk of Upper Deerfield; her nephew, Andrew Lysk (Samantha); her niece, Laura Mathus (Ryan); and her great-nephew and great-niece, Dylan and Abigail Lysk.
She was predeceased by her parents Lydia & John Lysk.
While there will be no public services, Angelica will be laid to rest alongside her parents at the family plot at Friendship Finley Methodist Cemetery privately at a later date.
