Almeda Webster's Obituary
Almeda G. Webster went home to be with the Lord on Monday September 12, 2022
She was born on May 23, 1931 in Bridgeton, NJ to the late Charles Ernest and Althea Sye Gould, and was the wife of the late George A. Webster.
Almeda graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1951, and married her husband George in 1952. From this marriage they had three children. Almeda had many jobs, babysitting, crossing guard, and nurse's aide. She later became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She also raised two of her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, baking, crocheting and tending to her many houseplants as well as enjoying her dog and cats.
She was predeceased by her husband George in 2020 , her son George in 2017, and her daughter Kathy in 2021. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Karra (James) Green of Millville, NJ her grandchildren Erik Jenkins of Bridgeton, Karra Jenkins of Vineland, George Gould (Roxanne) of Pittsgrove, Tiffany Dairsow of Pittsgrove, Reginald and Marshall Webster of Millville, James E. Green III of Florida, Isaac Green (Tabatha) of Bridgeton, great grandchildren Kaitlyn Gromley, Erik Jenkins Jr., Kareem Jenkins, Andre Jenkins, Anthony Jenkins, Gianna Jenkins, Elijah Dairsow Jr., Cheyenne Gould, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Monday September 19, 2022 at 11:00am from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll's Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. A viewing will be held from 9:00am till 11:00, and the interment will follow services in Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband George.
