Alice V. Seeney's Obituary
Alice V. Seeney , 97 of Bridgeton passed away late Friday evening July 31, 2009 in the Cumberland Manor, where she had been a resident for the past three years.
Born in Salem, NJ she was the daughter of the late Isaiah and Anna Bell nee Pitts Brown and the wife of the late Roland "Cappy" Seeney Sr. She formerly was a resident of Greenwich Twp. for many years prior to moving to Bridgeton. Alice was a homemaker and she loved cooking and baking, knitting and crocheting. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Bridgeton and was very active with the St. Vincent de Paul food program at St Teresa Of Avila Church in Bridgeton until her health started to fail her three years ago. Surviving her is her son Roland Seeney Jr. and his wife Harriet of Hopewell Twp., three grandchildren Roland III, Brian and Terri Seeney, and four great grandchildren Samanth Ann, Roland IV, Brianna and Devin Seeney.
