Roger G. Harmon aged 60 years of Alloway Twp. passed away suddenly on Saturday afternoon August 26, 2017 as the result of an motorcycle accident. Born in Salem NJ on February 1, 1957, he was the son of the late Leroy and Doris (nee Webb) Harmon, and the husband of Alice “Ray” (nee Pierce) Harmon. He had been a Salem County resident all of his life. Roger was employed for 21 years with Mannington Mills, where he had worked in the shipping dept. He was a member of Spirit of Life Ministry Church, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. His passions though, were spending time with his family, riding his Harley Davidson, and visiting the sick and shut ins. He was a devoted husband , father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his wife Alice “Ray”, his children Rebecca Jackson, Wakeysha Harmon, LaShion Pierce, Rhonda Pierce, and Roger Harmon Jr., his sister and brother Cynthia Mosley, and Eugene Harmon, thirteen grandchildren, and two great grands. He was predeceased by three brothers Leroy “Butch” Harmon Jr., Steven Harmon, and Gary Harmon, and one grandson. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday September 2, 2017, at 11:00a.m. from St. John Pentecostal Outreach Church, 22 New Market St. Salem, NJ. A viewing will be held from 10:00a.m. till 11:00a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in Fordville Memorial Park, Fairfield Twp.
