Marjorie Strang 90, of Rosenhayn passed away early Tuesday morning surrounded by her family, at the home of her son, Roy. She had been in failing health for the past six months under hospice care. Born in Scoobra, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Lidge and Virginia (nee Ball) McCormick and the wife of both the late Roy Barney Williams and George Strang. She had been an area resident since 1963. Marjorie was formerly employed with Owens Illinois for 28 years working as a line runner and packer. She was a former member of the Elks Lodge, and she loved doing yard work. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren, and traveling with her long time friend and companion Samuel Devito. She had just celebrated her 90th birthday a few weeks ago with her family. She will be greatly missed by all. Surviving are her children, Judy Scott and her husband Rick of Bridgeton, Roy Williams and his wife Toni of Rosenhayn; one sister, Edith Wilder of Jacksonville Beach, Florida; her thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grands, and three great great grandchildren. Besides her parents, husbands and companion, she was predeceased by two children, Nancy Santini and Martha Simonds; and brothers and sisters, Garland, Hubert, James, Opal, Velve, and Reathel. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Monday July 1. 2013 at 12:00 p.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. The interment will be in Overlook Cemetery , Bridgeton. Friends may call on Monday morning from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. prior to the services.
