Jerry Ephraim Loatman

January 28, 1937 - February 21, 2022

Jerry E. Loatman of Hopewell Twp. passed away suddenly Monday morning at his home. He was 85 years old. Born January 28, 1937 in Salem, NJ he was the son of the late Joseph Harold and Rebecca Mosley Loatman and the husband of the late Linda Thompson Loatman who passed August 12. 2021. Jerry was a truck driver all of his life and was first employed with National Freight, then Cross Trucking and for many years until his retirement in 2001 with Foundry Service Corporation in Vineland. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1955 -1958. He enjoyed watching his television and playing on the computer. He loved his family and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Valerie Anderson and her husband Gilbert, two sons, Jerry Loatman Jr. and his wife Melody, Brian Loatman and his wife Rebecca, four grandchildren, Jerry III, Jared Sr., Joshua(LeShanda), and Jillian Loatman, three great grandchildren, Jared Loatman Jr., Jeremy Loatman, Zoe Loatman, and his sister Eva Ceaser. Besides his parents and wife Linda, he was predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters: Joseph Loatman, Lillian Loatman, Hazel Loatman, Franklin Loatman, Hartley Loatman, Alice Reese, Jacqueline McGill, Ronald Loatman, Barry Loatman, Edith Loatman, and a granddaughter Gabrielle Loatman. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday March 5, 2022 at 11:00am from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll's Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. The interment with military honors will be in the Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Hopewell Twp. Friends may call on Saturday morning one hour prior to the services.
