Jeanette Pierce was the loving daughter of James and Dorothy May Pierce. Jeanette was raised by her paternal grandmother, Mabel (Jedediah) Pierce in Bridgeton, NJ. She was educated in the Bridgeton school system. Jeanette met and after a short courtship married Carl Demby. Jeanette worked at various jobs; a security officer for WELLS Fargo for a few years and she also worked for the Pineland School System in Carmel, NJ as a bus driver. She retired after twenty-five years of service. Jeanette joined Shiloh Baptist Church in Vineland, NJ where she served on the Usher Board and the food pantry for several years. Jeanette was a loving and giving person and no one was a stranger to her. Jeanette moved to the Riverwalk Senior apartments in Bridgeton and attended Union Baptist Church until her illness.
