Born in Gouldtown December 1, 1932, the youngest of nine children, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Anna (Durham) Cuff and the wife of the late Walter S. Webster, who passed away in 1983. Irene attended the one room school house in Gouldtown and everyday walked to school past the property she and her husband Walt would one day build their dream home. She was a graduate of Bridgeton High School and formerly worked for M.C. Schrank Company in Bridgeton. After her marriage and the birth of her first born, she decided to be a stay at home mom and housewife. She did enjoy however working the elections as a poll worker for the Cumberland County Board of Elections until her health started to fail. She was a former member of the Gouldtown Volunteer Fire Company #2 Ladies Auxialliary and a former member of the Gouldtown School PTA committee. She loved housekeeping and decorating her home for every holiday. She was a member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Indian Tribe of Bridgeton and enjoyed the PowWows and seeing her old friends at both the Jersey and Delaware events. She loved attending the many plays and musicals her son Walter was involved with and was a Lifetime Member of the Off Broad Street Players. She loved her family and especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons Walter A. Webster of Fairfield Twp. and Mark A. Webster and his wife Elaine of Upper Deerfield Twp., two grandchildren Gage A. Webster and Kaylin E. Webster, her brother in law Gerald Webster of Bridgeton, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Walter, she was predeceased by her siblings; Howard C. Cuff Sr., Imogene Cuff, Velma Wright, Agnes Durham, Alberta E. Munson, Mary Alice Durham, Edith Marie Dean, and Ella Cuff. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday November 26, 2021 at 11:00am from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. The interment will be in Gouldtown Memorial Park Fairfield Twp. A visitation will be held on Friday morning from 10:00am till 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Irene be sent to Off Broad Street Players PO Box 283 Bridgeton, NJ 08302. The family would like to thank Red Oak Hospice Care, Griswold Home Healthcare Caregiver, Elistina, for her servant heart, and Dr. Sherrie R.
