Pre-Planning
Preplanning a funeral service is the establishing and recording of your wishes regarding funeral arrangements.
Through the years we have planned and have made important decisions about our life events. Many people are now planning and choosing to make funeral arrangements for themselves, a relative, or a friend prior to death.
For those who have just lost a loved one, arranging the details of a funeral service is an emotional and stressful experience to one of the most difficult periods of life. Preplanning provides an opportunity to make rational decisions, and share feelings about various aspects of funeral service. Preplanning is also an opportunity to inform family and friends of your personal preferences and financial concerns.
While not a requirement, most preplanned funerals are also prepaid. Such arrangements are referred to as "Preneed Funeral Arrangements." If you choose to invest in a Preneed plan, you guard against higher funeral costs, and are assured the funds will be available at time of need.
As a member of the NJSFDA, we offer Funeral Planning Choices for the families we serve. Since 1981, Funeral Planning Choices has provided funeral funding that meets federal and state consumer protection laws.
